Speechless Sunday~Vera, the posing dog

Last week-end at the Pearl Farmer's Market downtown we saw that many people had brought their dogs along to enjoy the sights, sounds, and aromas of the market.  We took photos of several dogs but the only dog that would actually pose for us was Vera.  The owner told us that Vera does indeed pose for pictures!  Vera was also very good humored about letting small children pet her.  I told Vera I would feature her on my blog, so her she is... Vera, the amazing, beautiful, wonderful posing dog!

Hi Shirley, Vera sounds like a very well behaved dog!  I'm always surprised when dogs are so social that people can actually take them to a farmers market.  My mountain mut is not very social, I wouldn't dare take her!

How cute!  Our Farmer's Market doesn't allow dogs, but we like to visit anyway.  Vera is well behaved!

Hi Mary, Your mountain mutt may prefer the mountains to more social events!

Hi Chris,  I love your ladybug!

Hi Ricki, Ok, give me a call.  I have to take my daughter for a dental appointment at 11:00a.m. an wait for her so that would be a good time to call.

How did you get her to "pose?" Did you snap and say ... "pose" or "CHEESE?" I'm curious.

Hi Shirley... Vera is such a cute puppy in her fringed bandana!  Her good nature comes through loud and clear in the photo.

Greg, You probably aren't serious but... the owner fixed her bandana and gave Vera instructions for sitting for the picture and Vera complied.

Hi Steve, I love Vera's expression.

Hi Rita, Thanks!

Hi Ann, I gave the owner my card but didn't get her contact info.  Wish I had now!  Maybe she will find Vera on ActiveRain.

Shirley,

Vera looks like she's tiring of the idea of wearing a scarf and wants to try something different. :)
