"Winter" in San Antonio

The high temperature today in San Antonio was 77 degrees.  The low tonight will be 54 degrees. ummm nice.

Sure, we have had some sweater weather lately.  We even had a fire in the fireplace one night.

But when I look at other areas of the country, I feel pretty lucky to be planted where I am.  I can't imagine my beagle, Snoopy, wanting to go out in 3 feet of snow.  I can't imagine my tuxedo cat, Fluffy, navigating snow, either.  I also can't imagine myself going out in it, except to throw snowballs or build a snowman.

I guess that is why we have snowbirds.

The snow is okay. It's the ice that a comes a visitten, up in these parts, you want to look out for. My kittey cat, Alexis looks out the window at it only.

HI SP!  I shot the video a couple of weeks ago (the day it was really cold) for the contest but just posted it. How funny that we were working on the same thing!  KM

Hi Dale, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of a cat in snow... probably never will.  My cat doesn't need a litter box with this kind of weather. He just makes a visit outdoors.

Hi Kristin, haha That explains it. I was confused on first seeing the video and hearing that you needed a jacket. :-)
